"That no matter how beautiful the rest of the world is... In his eyes her beauty surpasses it all." Kita told Ulquiorra.

"Perhaps....let me read it again...but with my interpretation of it...Shall I compare you to a summer's day? You are more lovely and more constant: Rough winds shake the beloved buds of May And summer is far too short: At times the sun is too hot, Or often goes behind the clouds; And everything beautiful sometime will lose its beauty, By misfortune or by nature's planned out course. But your youth shall not fade, Nor will you lose the beauty that you possess; Nor will death claim you for his own, Because in my eternal verse you will live forever. So long as there are people on this earth, So long will this poem live on, making you immortal." Ulquiorra said.

"So you see it has he is making her and her beauty immortal. I can see that. So I was half right of what you thought." Kita smiled as she watched Ulquiorra.

Ulquiorra nodded, "But...it does not make sense...writing it down will not make her immortal..."

"Well..." Kita adjusted slightly turning to look at Ulquiorra better as she continued, "In a way it does. When you read that did you imagine how beautiful she could have been in his eye?" Kita asked him.

"I can imagine a beautiful woman...." Ulquiorra glanced at her before looking back at his book, "But that does not make her immortal.."

"In memory or thought it does. She is not really immortal as in flesh and blood, but in mind she is, and in these pages. When someone reads it they will think of that beautiful woman and she will be live on once more in someone else." Kita sighed not sure if she was getting through to Ulquiorra. She lowed her head. "That's how I want to be made immortal... As long as I am remembered I will always live on the the hearts and minds of others. They will remember me as a good person, a beautiful person. Not the ugly creature I will become when my heart finally dies."

"Metaphorically?" Ulquiorra nodded, "I understand...." He closed his eyes, "I will not allow that to happen....you will NOT loose your heart Kita...."

"Yes metaphorically..." Kita replied her eyes still cast down. She turned where she sat sitting forward again. She lifted her head looking out across the room. Her mind wondered to the what 'if' of the future. "You hope..." Kita whispered.

"You cannot loose it..." Ulquiorra murmured, "I will not allow it...."

Kita looked at Ulquiorra with a weak smile, "I wish I could believe that. However, some things are just not that easy to stop..." Kita paused and looked away again. "Or change." Kita added in a soft sad tone.

Ulquiorra tapped the bell around her neck, "Stop it..."

Kita could not help but let a warm smile wash over her face when Ulquiorra tapped at her bell. She looked slowly to him, "I will fight this to the end. Even if it kills me I wont let it win. I wont let my heart die."

"Good," He murmured, enjoying the ringing of the bell.

Kita leaned against Ulquiorra once more looking at the pages of the book, "Do you enjoy reading stories like this?" Kita asked.
