Kira reentered, this place looked much different when it wasn't completely dark. It was sundown, the sunlight bathing the statues with an orange glow. She walked down the path, trying to recall the steps she'd made when she'd originally found this area.

"Hello, Lady Kira," Kaname called out half hidden in the shadows cast by the fiery glow of the sun. He walked over and bowed, kissing her hand. "What are you thinking with such a peaceful look on your face?"

Kira smiled and bowed her head lightly to him as he kissed her hand. "I'm contemplating on whether I should finish what I started here." She laughed. "There are still several mirrors missing...buried here or there...or...somewhere..."

Kaname nodded, looking around the stone garden. "There is no rush. It's already a splendid sight." His gaze passed over the many statues and once more settled on the warrior raising his sword.

Kira looked around, then stopped to look at Kaname. Following his gaze to the statue once more. "You like that one, don't you?" She smiled, standing beside him.

"Yes, I do. It... reminds me of a past long ago, or perhaps two." Kaname turned to Kira. "I suppose I find myself remembering and wondering when I see it."

"Wondering? Do you wish to speak about it?" She smiled.

Eyes watching the trailing dust particles in the stream of light nearest them, Kaname replied, "If you would like." He paused. "Would it possible for a predator to live a peaceful existence, if he hadn't tasted his own darkness before? Is there a peaceful solution to every problem?" He halted then finished, "Even if it is too late to change that now." Kaname smiled softly at Kira.

"It's not too late to learn from it though." Kira expressed. "Everyone faces darkness at one point or another, be they predator or prey. What makes you strong is if you're able to pull through it, and learn. That way, you don't repeat the mistakes of the past. "

Kaname returned to the center of the stone garden on a night much later, moving into the light cast by the crescent moon. He lifted his head, locking on the stars of Draco. It was indeed the perfect night. Pulling out an envelope sealed in red wax, he closed his eyes. In a few minutes, a raven alighted on his sleeve. Kaname handed Karasu the letter. "Go find you mistress," he intoned smoothly. The bird took off.

Kira appeared, landing lightly and not making a sound on the grass. She held in her hands an opened letter. "Not much of a riddle. It was quite easy to solve. Or is that simply because you didn't want anything hindering me from appearing?" She giggled in a rather peculiar outfit, one that not many had seen her in. A delicate lolita-type dress, complete with black lace frills and ribbons, all over a delicate dark blue silk base. Ribbons ran down her arms as well, tied around her wrists, and a small top hat sat tilted on the top of her head. Her hair fell lightly around her face in loose curls, all but what was pulled back in a loose clip. A tiny sparkling diamond glistened from her left ear, while a small key hung on her right ear. She curtsied elegantly. "Good Evening, Lord Demon~"

Kaname turned from the silver streams of light cast by the mirrors. He chuckled as he took her appearance. "It my turn to be surprised this night." He walked over as if from the moonlight and touched the key earing. " I do wonder what this is the key of. And no, I did not try to confuse, or believe you, I would have, my lady. " Dressed in a crimson shirt of silk, he bowed to Kira and kissed her cheek. "I hope you enjoy this evening."

She laughed lightly. "If you really want to know, I suppose you'll just have to wait and find out~" She mused, referring to the key. Then smiling more sincerely, she conveyed, "Of course I'll enjoy the evening. You're here, after all."

Kaname nodded. "This is only the first part of the surprise. If you will follow me, Kira, I will escort you to a dinner I have prepared and the true surprise." A slow smirk curled up his lips. "But you will come with my blindfolded." He held out a piece of dark red velvet. "Is it bringing up any memories?"

"Memories? No no...none at all." She fibbed, smirking lightly. Then snapping her fingers, she acted surprised. "OOOH that's right! From the time when I kidnapped a certain Demon! Has he been giving you details of that excursion?" She played.
