The full moon broke through the fleeting clouds and illuminated a grassy clearing high in the mountains, surrounded by a thick cedar forest on one side and a steep, rocky incline on the other. A small crystal clear stream ran along the edge of the woods, separating the forest from the meadow.
Kas materialized in the middle of the meadow, in the middle of bundling her hair up into a thick braid. "Ah, here we are." she said, looking around and picking Arnulfa off the ground and walking around the meadow, which would soon be a battleground.

Kira appeared from the very shadows of the wood, tilting her head from side to side as she approached. Clothed all in black, skin tight pants and a loose overshirt worn over her ninja mesh, she didn't have on any armor. The only thing strapped to her back was a Ninjato, ready for the draw...sharp and crying for blood. "Not a bad area!" She called out to Kas from the other side of the stream.

Kas raised an eyebrow and looked up at Kira from where she had seated herself, "I thought it was a nice place." she replied, running her fingers through the end of her braid thoughtfully. As far as battle dress went, Kas was wearing less than her usual, just the black tank top and a pair of canvas pants, cut off at the knee and no shoes.

Flashing across the stream and over to Kas, Kira looked her over. "Barefoot? Really letting loose I see. Don't complain to me when I put a shuriken in your heel." She grinned.

"I always fight one on ones barefoot. No need for extra weight." Kas said coolly, tilting her head to eye Kira, a tiny smirk curling one side of her lips. "Don't complain to me when your pants split from a tiny nick."

Kira shrugged. "If they split they split. I'll just take them off and show you my ass, so you can find a good spot to kiss."

"To bad I didn't bring my branding irons."

Kira blinked. "I have my stamp if you need a new marking. Brands are so crude. My ink lasts much longer." She smirked. "Besides, you're a Lady, Kas! Why in the world would you want me to BURN you?!"

"I was of course, refering to putting a nice big F on YOUR rump." Kas said, suprisingly keeping her temper non-exsistant. Kira just wasn't having the same affect that Genesis did.

"Ah, then speak more clearly. Arara, I wouldn't mind the F, as long as you added a U behind it. It would make mooning people so much more enjoyable~"

"F for Fail." Kas said, standing smoothly and eyeing Kira for a moment.

Kira smirked. "Fail? Aren't you getting just a bit ahead of yourself?" She laughed lightly, moving her fingers with a slight urge. "Though I suppose that means I get to put that "F" on your face, after I rub it in the mud? Hmm? Although, I'd much rather write my name on you..."

"No more ahead of myself than you are." Kas retorted, moving in close to Kira and looking down at her, "Goddess, I never realized how short you are."

"Aww, does that mean you look up to me as a role-model, or something lame like that? They say you always imagine your role-models larger than they are." Kira taunted, reaching up and flicking Kas's forehead lightly. "Don't look down on me. You're what, 2 inches taller? BIIIG Deal." She scoffed.

Kas swated Kira's hand away, "Well if you wern't so short, I wouldn't have to look down." she said with a teasing grin, backing away.
