Kita watched as Kaname walked slowly away into the darkness. The snow gently falling around him. Kita then smiled at Keome's statement as she thought to herself, "For as long as it takes...."

Kaname walked over to the girls and put his coat around Keome's body. "It's kind of silly to wait out here for me when I might have not returned 'til morning." He smiled at Kita. "Shall we go inside?" he asked, voice relaying the gratitude at their loyalty.

Kira walked up, finding a snowman unattended, and everyone being lead inside. She had walked off after Kaname had left, but made sure to return and wait for him. Apparently she was late. ^^;

Kaname came up behind Kira-chan. "You're not late," he whispered in her ear, wondering if she'd jump.

Kita smiled at Kaname with a slight nod. "If that is what you wish. I will follow you." Kita's look, smile and mind slowly drifted to a dangerous area as she thought to herself. "Too bad I did not find Kaname before Lord Aizen." Quickly she looked back at Kaname. "Forgive me, Lord Kaname but you can't read minds, can you?"

Kira tensed a bit, but didn't jump. She smiled instead. "Trying to startle me are you?" She turned to look into his mischievous eyes. "Good to hear. May I join you?"

Kome tightened her grip on his coat, smiling a little to herself. "Alrighty, let's go inside." She said, a white cloud of air coming from her mouth.

Kaname smiled softly at Kita. "No, my lady, I can't, but... " He turned back to Kira. "Of course you can." "I may be able to guess," he finished softly. Suddenly a shudder shook a tree and covered the ladies in snow. Kaname was untouched, looking mischievous, relaxed, and a tad pensive.

"Uwah!" Keome shook her head. She spun around. "What was that!? Kaname did you...?" Keome smirked and grabbed some snow in her hand. "Take this!" And she threw a snowball.

Kira closed her eyes, now totally covered in the white powder. "Well now...I would also need to borrow a towel...and a fire if you don't mind..." She spoke, a chill running over her. She liked to watch the snow...but was never one to stay in it too long.

Kita shivered as she dust the snow from her person. Smiling and glancing slightly at Kaname, Kita knew he had to have been the one behind that. " I agree, Kira. A blanket and a nice fire would would be great right now."

"I am innocent," Kaname smirked, a glint in his eyes. He decided to be true to an older self. Simultaneously, he turned around, slowly going around the first snowball. Then, he caught Keome's second snowball. He threw it at Kita, murmuring, "Stay still and you'll be hit." He also sent a wave of heat toward the girls not holding his coat, so they were warmer. He landed a few feet away, looking at Keome. "Do you wish to try again?"

Keome sighed. "One more time. I won't give up hope!" She cheered and scooped up some more snow. "Keome shoots and she-"

Kaname couldn't help himself. He let the snowball hit him, splashing across his face. Then, he tumbled down into the snow. He lay there, remembering.
