Juushiro sat watching the leaves dance outside his window while he contemplated. A light blanket had been draped over his shoulders by his lieutenants before they left him. They were always keeping an eye out for him. A cup of green tea was resting idly in his hands. Juushiro didn't mind visitors but the rare moments of silence were peaceful.

"Juushiro! How are you?" asked Kisuke as he walked into the room. "Hate to ruin your moment of silence, my friend."

Kita was on an afternoon stroll that day when she happened past Juushiro place of residents. From the corner of her eye she saw him sitting peaceful looking out his window. She waved with a soft smile. She wanted to go see him but was not sure if he was feeling up to her company.

Juushiro laughed. "That's fine, Kisuke. I don't mind. The whole morning has been quiet." He caught the lingering reiatsu of the girl he had healed earlier. He chuckled, smiling brightly. "Come on in instead of snooping, Kita-chan"

When Kita heard Juushiro call to her she walked over to the house, knocked and walked in. "I was not snooping, Captain. I was just wondering how you were doing and was having a hard time with making up my mind to come see you or let you rest." Kita told him with a warm smile, closing the door behind her.

Juushiro nodded, chuckling. "Whether you were or not, it got your attention. And you don't have to worry about me not resting, I've been resting since this morning." He winked. "I think I can move now."

Kita nodded with a wide smile, "Yes you did get my attention. Of course with you being my host you already had that." Kita gave a sly smile as she added, "I am glad to hear you have been resting. I would hate to see you bed ridden because of you over doing it." Kita smiled warmly when he winked at her.

Juushiro grinned and stood. "Would you like some onigiri, Kita-chan? I made some earlier." He chuckled to himself. "In case you didn't realize it, I like to make them."

Kita smiled with a nodded as she said, "Yes, that would be nice, thank you." She watched as Juushiro stood, "If you tell me where it is I can get it. You don't have to do it."

Juushiro waved her down. "Now, now, Kita, what kind of host would I be if I didn't serve my guests?" He folded the blanket and placed it on a corner of the table. He smiled at Kita and Kisuke. "Both of you take a seat, and I'll be back shortly." He bowed and left the room.

Kita smiled knowing she was not going to win so she took a set in a chair closest to her. Waiting for Juushiro's return.

Juushiro returned with a bamboo tray. There were three cups of green tea and six onigiri rolls. He set it on the low table and sat back down again. "The secret ingredient today in the roll is dried rosemary. I hope you enjoy them."

Kita smiled warmly as she watched Juushiro re enter the room. Sitting the try to the table and sitting back again she heard him speak, "So you even have secrets in your cooking, huh?" Kita lifted a cup and a single roll from the tray as she looked to Juushiro, "I am sure they are wonderful."

Kira knocked lightly on the door. She hoped she wouldn't be interrupting anything, but would like to welcome Juushiro.

Juushiro laughed at Kita's compliment. Rubbing the back of his neck, he chuckled, "You overestimate my cooking, Kita-chan. I'm sure it's just mediocre, especially if I was using them as stress relief." He sat on down next to them and perceived the presence of another girl. "Kira-chan, come in," he called, waving his hand at her.
