New Day Karmira pulled the blinds up and opened the window of the living/kitchenette, dispersing the aroma of the fresh tomatoes and basil. The pasta churned on the pot. Running over to the stove, she turned the marinara sauce over and switched the stove to low. A ring echoed just below her. She ducked and took the warm garlic bread out, placing it on a wood cutting board in the middle of the table. She skipped back to her cooking and sipped the sauce. After a few moments, she added a little pepper and shredded more basil. While waiting for the pasta to finish, she set the table with wine and water glasses and moved the little basil plant to the floor in the living room. She replaced it with a vase of wildflowers. She left the room to finish getting ready for her guests. Karmira re-entered in a dark blue patterned skirt and a lacy black short-sleeved top. Her hair was held back in a black hairpin and blue drops twinkled from her ears. Finally, she strained the pasta and layered the sauce on top. Setting the bowl in the center, she waited.

A pair of 15th century boots crunched on the roof tiles as Ezio swung over the ledge and tapped on the window.

Karmira started and whirled around on the couch. She chuckled and opened the window. "I should have known you wouldn't enter through the door."

Ezio smirked down at her, jumping through the window as graceful as a cat, "Salute, amore." He held up a bottle, "I brought the wine."

She smiled up at him. "Thank you, amore." She took it from him and set it on the table next to the pasta. "Shall we eat then?"

"Si, and I can judge how authentic your pasta is," He smirked, peeling the wax off the bottle and uncorking it.

She laughed quietly and pushed the chairs out. "I don't know about authentic, but I have been told my cooking is quite good." She served them both a big serving and cut them a big piece of the garlic bread. "Sit down, Ezio, and judge for yourself. I forgot to get the water and cheese." She walked over to the kitchen.

The assassin chuckled and poured wine into each of the glasses, before taking a seat in the chair, "Bene, I will wait."

Karmira came back with a pitcher of water and a cheese on a grate. "You didn't have to wait," she chuckled. She filled her water glass and sat down. "Try it, please."

"Si," He picked up the fork and twirled some spagetti, "Grazie, bella~" Ezio said, taking a bite. The assassin look up and to the right as he thought over the food, "It is good....but not as good as mine." He smirked and took a sip of wine.

She laughed and took a small bite of her own. "I'll have to try yours then and see if you're joking or not," she replied, smiling. She broke a chunk of her bread. "I welcome a challenge."

Ezio smirked, "I wish you all the luck then, you will need it." He tilted his glass to her before taking another bit of spaghetti.

Karmira smirked. "No, I think you will need it, Ezio." She tasted the wine and took a slow sip.
