Sesshomaru threw aside the large door and stepped onto the balcony. A wind rustled by, filling the room with clean air. Another row of lamps flickered to life along the walls in the house. Sesshomaru placed his hands on the railing. A rare smile moved across his features and faded as the wind receded in its updraft.

Kita was now leaning against the door frame leading out to the balcony as she watched Sesshomaru. As the breeze rush past Kita tucked a few loose hair behind her ear with a slight chuckle and smiled lightly seeing a smile cross his lips. "Now there is something a fan would be honored to see." Kita replied still watching Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru abruptly turned back around. He walked past Kita and then said, "I am checking the library in the middle room. This balcony extends halfway around the keep. Walk as you please but the wind can be harsh." He swept past her back into keep.

Kita eyes lit up when Sesshomaru said the word library. She turned quickly and looked at Sesshomaru. "The library?" Kita pondered. "My Lord, do mind if I join you?" Kita asked.

Sesshomaru took out a small key from under his armor. "If it wish," he replied, shortly, fitting the key in the lock and pushing the door open. "But stay away from the scrolls. Most are delicate and would be a bother to replace."

Kita bowed slightly, "Of course, my Lord. I would never think of touching them and thank you." Kita said following behind him into the library.

Sesshomaru nodded. As the door swung open, another blast of sunlight hit the dim landing. The library was stacked. The walls were covered in papers and books. Two chairs were folded against the wall. A huge desk with a map under glass stood in the middle around plies of more books, half covered by scrolls, folded neatly or spread out. Against the tall window, a dark desk littered with a mountain of papers, cast shadows across the room.

Kita looked around the room and shook her head. "It is going to take sometime for you to clean this room." Kita said as she walked toward the desk in the center of the room. Stopping next to to it she wiped her hand gently across the glass. The stroke of her hand leaving a clear trail behind and revealing a map underneath. "Hmmm..." Kita said as she wiped a little more. She looked toward Sesshomaru, "My Lord, what area is this a map of?"

Sesshomaru's annoyance was plain on his face. It would appear that this was the spell on the keep, to preserve a big mess. He could remember the postscript on the letter: "I left you a very entertaining task, my son. I'm sure it'll improve your mood on bad days. I always found it relaxing." He cut off his angry response and looked over to Kita.
She stood next to the table of the map. He walked over to answer her question, maneuvering gracefully past a tower of books. He knelt to pick up a scroll, too. He stepped near and looked over. Quietly, Sesshomaru replied, "Ancient China, Russia, and India." His grip on the scroll lessened from its stranglehold.
Still quiet, he asked himself aloud, "What is that doing here? He said he burned it."

Kita looked up from the map at Sesshomaru, "Excuse me, my Lord?" Kita pondered not sure what he was referring to. She noticed he did not seem very pleased at that moment. "Is there something wrong, Lord Sesshomaru." Kita asked in a worried tone.

Sesshomaru shook his head slightly and started picking up a load of scrolls from the table. He cleared a portion of the desk in the back and called to Kita, "The left side of the room should be myths, fairy tales, and such. I will be cleaning here."

Kita nodded, "Are you sure you would not like me to help you. I am very efficient. I watch what I do and nothing will get damaged." Kita smiled as she stepped up beside him with a warm smile, "It is better then doing it alone. This will take you all day if not longer to do alone. I do not mind at all, my Lord." Kita told him.

Sesshomaru set down the manuscripts on the portion of the desk. "It is my job, Kita, but perhaps I will let you."
He turned to the others who had joined them. "There's not space in here for more than a few people. Watch your step." He picked up a scroll wrapped in faded jade paper, gazing at the rows of shelves. He slipped the item in an empty slot. "We will be leaving here shortly as well," he decided aloud. The library was in no shape for guests.
