Kita looked up at Kira smiling warmly. "Thank you, Kira. That's very sweet of you to say."

"I am glad," Kaname smiled, releasing Lady Kita's hand. He dipped a low bow before Lady Kira. "If Kira will do me the honor." A new tune was playing in the background.

"It would be my great pleasure." She replied, holding her hand out to him elegantly.

Kita stepped off the dance floor and to the side as she turned to watch the two dance.

Kaname led Lady Kira to the center of the dance floor, holding her arm in a soft grasp. Turning to her, he wrapped his arm around her waist and tightened his other hand on hers. He stepped to the side as the music reached its pause and started another softer melody. Kaname chuckled. "I might have to sing this one," he whispered, "if you don't mind, my lady." He began to lead the dance.

Kira smiled at him gently as they got into position. "Mind? To hear such lovely words escape your lips? I believe I have gone to heaven...please do, my Lord." She whispered back. He began to lead, and she followed smoothly. Oddly relaxed in his embrace.

Kaname's tenor voice blended in with the light music. His eyes took on a faraway look as he turned Lady Kira in her first circle, gently twirling her hand. As he guided her back to him in a glide, his voice rose. The foriegn notes reached over the music as his smooth voice echoed in the air.

Kira gently closed her eyes at first and allowed herself to follow his movement by sheer instinct as she took in every note of the song. Opening her eyes once more as she twirled and returned, she took to gazing into his far-off eyes.

Kita watched as the couple danced and Kaname's voice sang out in her mind. Kita closed her eyes just letting the sounds of the music and Kaname's voice carry her as far away at it could.

Kaname noted the shift of Kira's attention and sang a few words, staring into her eyes, but even as he watched Kira's eyes, his mind also looked past her. Kaname's eyes were dark but soft as the song recalled the past. Abruptly, Kaname dipped Kira into a low spin and dip, pausing to let her catch her breath, a few words lifting into the air with the wind chimes dancing in the music. He let her up, putting her head on his shoulder and turned. His voice stayed soft as the music rose once more, the flutes blending into the background as the cellos took up the melody.

She could see the hidden sorrow behind his eyes, of a time long past. As if he read her mind, he had pulled her close as she caught her breath after the variety of quick paced moves. It was then that her heart began to race. She wanted to hold him tight and relieve him of his sorrows, to put this wonderfully exceptional man at ease. She smiled gently to the sound of the cellos. One of her favorite instruments.

Kaname let his singing end as the ending clause of the music rose up, the tympani rippling louder, in the chorus of stringed accompaniment. He sighed, a soft whisper of air, as he twirled Lady Kira away, wrapping her slowly back towards him as he stepped near, putting his hand back on her waist. The clarinets and oboes were finishing their movement. Slowly, he twirled Kira and himself in another turn. The chimes twinkled as the music slowed.

Kita hearing the music slowly coming to is beautiful end she opened her eyes to watch the two come to end of their dance. She smiled softly as she watched them twirl around.

"Magnificent Tenor, my Lord." Kira admired in a soft voice, now that his singing had stopped. She followed his lead in every movement as accurately and smoothly as possible, getting quite a workout from this dance but not a strenuous one. He was truly a magnificent dancer.

Kaname nodded, silent, his eyes losing some of their darkness. His pace glided to its close as the flutes played the ending scene. His hand clenched slightly around Kira's, her only warning as he dipped her in the second bow. He pulled her slowly up and bent on the ground before her, still holding her hand. The chimes drifted away into the silence.
