Hidden far behind the tea house is a secret area, where all types of exotic flowers and birds dwell. Someone has been tending to this garden...but who?
((NoOne post here yet okay? There's a purpose for this thread right now. *bows* Thank you ))

Ulquiorra entered the garden, looking around curiously, "Kira...?" He called out, looking for the woman.

Hearing his voice, Kira stepped out from behind a tree. "Right here." She smiled. "Come this way, but watch your step, the vines like to trip you..." She said, as though she knew from experience. Leading him down a small, vine-strewn path, they entered a grand archway, covered in greens and a strange flower. She made sure to look back at him, not wanting him to touch them. "They are poisonous, be wary of them." She continued to lead him a ways, what she wanted to show him, was deep within.

Ulquiorra spared the flowers a glance, minding the turns in the garden. He could not help but wonder where she was leading him.

Finally, she stopped. Turning in front of a gate, she looked back at Ulquiorra. "And here we are...the secret garden. I don't bring just anyone here...but I think you may find some use with it. Perhaps..." She winked and cracked the door, having to push hard, but leading him inside. There were strange plants and flowers everywhere...many different scents mingled in the air, making a pleasant, intoxicating scent. It was quiet, completely. "Hmm...that's odd." She stated, looking into the high trees surrounding the area. She looked back at Ulquiorra with an arched eyebrow. "Give them time..." She spoke quietly, realizing that they were most likely frightened by the sudden visitors.

Ulquiorra looked around the garden, taking in the exotic plants, "What is this, Kira?"

Kira looked around with a far-off gaze. "This...is merely a garden. Nothing more, nothing less." She looked at him with a gentle smile. "But. It is also a home and sanctuary to every creature that dwells here in peace." As soon as she said these words, a few birds began to sing from high in the trees.

Ulquiorra looked at her, "Why did you bring me here?"

She smiled, a slight gleam in her eye. "While I haven't heard any nightingales for some time, there ARE many birds that sing here, as you can clearly hear." She paused. "Even though I'm sure it's meaningless to you...think a moment on this. Why do they sing?" She looked into his green eyes, waiting for an answer.

Ulquiorra furrowed his brows, "I do not know...isn't it some mating thing they do..."

Kira laughed a little. "I suppose. But they always sing. When I look at them, I always wonder why. They seem to sing as if their lives depend on it. I don't even know if it's enjoyable to them...or just routine. A monotonous task, carried out for the sake of carrying it out." She paused and cleared her throat. "Regardless, their song seems to bring peace to humans. As do gazing upon flowers." She instructed him to come over to where she was standing. She pointed at a grouping of daisies. "The flower you chose for Kita-chan, wasn't it?"

"No..." Ulquiorra murmured, "I gave her daffofils..."

"Whoops!" Kira laughed nervously. "I have way too much on my mind then...oi..."

The espada shook his head, "It is fine....but I chose daffodils for a reason..."

"Oh?" Kira asked curiously. "May I ask why?"
