The town was quiet in the late evening, only a few townspeople walking about, enjoying their time. The house of the Valentines was a little far off from the entrance to the town, a silent house, looking old in the evening sun. Vincent led Chrysta towards the town where he grew up in.

Chrysta smiled as Vincent led her through his town. She caught a glimpse of the few townspeople and eyed the buildings; the evening sun made the town beautiful. "So this is your home town?" She asked still taking in her surroundings. "Where is your home, my sweet Valentine?" She asked curiously.

"Not much to see in Kalm, but it's a nice town. And...that would be my house..." he said, pointing toward the old house. "I'm not around much to care for it..." he said awkwardly, trying to excuse the appearance of the house.

"It's just fine the way it is." She said giving him a smile. "If you'd like though, we could do something with it." She offered.

"It would be far too much trouble for a place I spend so little time in" he smiled. "But thank you" he said as they walked to the door. It creaked as he opened it, making him scowl lightly at the noise. The door opened to a small hallway with a short flight of stairs that led to another door. He led her up and into a spacious living room. The furniture was mostly covered in white sheets except a sofa and a piano in a corner.

She nodded as he led her through a door, and into a living room. She noticed most of the furniture was covered, save for a single couch, and a piano. "Do you play, il mio bello?" She asked curiously, pointing towards the piano.

"Not very well, but yes...Though it's been a while" he said.

"Could you play for me?" She asked walking over to the piano.

He nodded and walked over. Taking his cape off, he placed it on the back of the couch before going to the piano. "Sit down" he invited her with a smile, gesturing towards the empty spot on the bench. He then proceeded to remove his metal claw off his left hand and the glove off his right.

She gave Vincent a smile as she claimed the empty spot on the piano's bench. She watched him as he readied himself to play.

He lifted the lid from the keys. Flexing his fingers a couple of times, his hands settled over the keys. The song began with a slow sequence of notes that reverberated through the silent room. There was a short pause before he started again, a soothing song with a slow but strong tempo.

She smiled and closed her eyes, allowing the beautiful melody play into her mind.

He smiled lightly as he played, his hands naturally gliding over the keys, alternating notes in the harmony of the song.

Keeping her eyes closed, she rested her head upon his shoulder. She smiled as the music moved within her.

He continued playing in the same rhythm for a while, the notes echoing through the room and his mind as well, bringing back old memories and a sad smile. But after a while, the rhythm changed as the song sped up for a brief moment before returning to a slow pace once again.
