Kaname chuckled quietly as he pulled Kita up against him and vanished from the hallway he had found her in.
A cool breeze tickled her cheek and pulled at her hair. Long grass whispered against her legs. "You may open you eyes now, my lady," Kaname murmured above her.
The two of them stood on the top of a tall grassy hill. A river sparkled from below like long silver necklace. Scattered windswept trees dotted the verdant empty hill lands. A constant cheery wind whipped around them. Towering white clouds scattered across the blue sky.

Kita gazed out across the landscape at the beautiful scenery set before her. Her eyes wondered as far as they could see. Kita slowly looked to Kaname with a winsome smile, “It is beautiful, my Lord.” She replied tucking back a piece of silver hair.

Kaname pulled out another lock of her sliver hair. He liked it playfully flowing in the breeze. "I'm glad you like it." He turned to the side. "Shall I take you to our place of lunch?"

With a nod Kita replied, "Yes, lunch sounds rather good." Kita slid her hand into Kaname's. "Led the way, my Lord."

Kaname held her hand gently as he led the way across the tall hill to a wide maple tree, scorched on one side. A low flat boulder rested on the windward side, decked out with the familiar tablecloth and open picnic basket. Beside the boulder, Miharu lay, head half hidden by the grass. The wind slowed as they neared the great tree. Kaname bowed. "Will the lady be seated?"

Kita gave a slight nods sliding her hand from Kaname's. Leaning down Kita stroked Miharu head then stepped to the flat bolder taking a seat to the tablecloth. She looked around at the land as her eyes stopped on Kaname. "So how was your rest last night, my Lord. I do hope you rested well."

Kaname sat down beside her. "It was a very quiet, restful sleep," he replied, smiling softly, "one I haven't had for a long time."
He pulled back the half of the tablecloth hiding the lunch. There was a large platter of homemade cut salami and cheese, two small bowls of sliced pears, and rolls in a large half-covered basket, still warm. To the side, a long salami lay near a knife. It was halfway off the stone table. Slightly narrowing his eyes, Kaname sighed with amusement.
"Kita, however much you like Miharu, don't let him watch food. He's bound to steal his reward before the right time." He moved the salami from the edge. "At least, he left the second one for us."

"I am glad to hear that, my Lord." Kita watched as Kaname through back the tablecloth from the food. Kita saw the salami and chuckled softly the looked after Miharu as he lay restful in the grass. Hearing Kaname speak Kita nodded, "I guess Miharu was hungry and could not wait on us." Kita looked back to Kaname with a wide smile.

Kaname's attempt to be stern was lost with the twinkling in his eye. "I'm his master, so I thought I might have better luck." He pulled out two glasses and a picture. He handed her a cold glass of ice water. "I hope it's to your liking, my lady."

Kita smiled softly as she gazed into Kaname's soft dark eyes, "Sometimes the hunger is just to strong, my Lord." She took the glass and nodded, "Yes, this will be fine. I prefer it if truth be known."

Kaname chuckled. "By luck I found another of the nymph's secrets." He looked at Miharu. "And if I may disagree, my lady, I think it wasn't hunger." Kaname turned back to Kita. "He's too proud of it."

Kita smiled taking a drink of her water. She lowered her glass replying, "Secrets? I have none. Like I said, I am an open book, Lord Kaname all you have to do is read the pages." Kita then chuckled at Kaname's last comment as she said, "If you can't be proud of what you have done, why do it?" She slowly looked over to Miharu with a smile.

Kaname chuckled, shaking his head, ruefully. "I suppose so. You may be encouraging him, Kita, not that he needs the encouragement." Kaname took a long drink from his glass before replying to Kita's first comment, "You may be an open book, Kita, yet, " He reached over and ran a hand through her silver hair, "those pages aren't all easy to read. I like finding out what you like on my own."
His hand fell to her black bow. "Do you mind if I take it out?"

"I guess it is a little more fun that way. I guess I cannot dyne you that." Kita felt a tingling in her body as Kaname ran his fingers through her hair, his hand stopping at her bow. Nodding her head she replied, "If you wish, my Lord."

Kaname nodded and slid the bow out, putting it aside. He continued to run his hand through the soft locks. With his other hand, he grabbed a pear. "Will you test to see if these stayed fresh, my lady?"
