Kaname walked into the center of the small glistening clearing. The snow mirrored the heavens shining above. The area was quiet, and his steps echoed in the huge cold air. He waited for his challenger with a light smile.

Kita appeared silently a few yards behind Kaname. She already had a snowball in hand. She tossed in the air a few times as she called out, "I hope I did not keep you waiting long?"

Kaname chuckled, turning his head to look over at her. His eyes glowed like dark rubies. "No, you didn't. Do you have any rules you wish to create?"

"Hmmm..." Kita pondered. "I can only think of one." Kita said looking Kaname's way. "No disappearing... Other then that... No. Is there any rules you would like to add, my Lord." Kita asked him.

Kaname whirled around, flinging his first snowball with a flourish. "I accept. Do you still wish for the goal to be the same? The first person hit?" His cloak billowed in the cool wind.

Kita dodge quickly as his snowball flew past her. Kita watched Kaname close, her eye on his ever movement. She then released her snowball. She threw so it would cross his path, however, with his speed it was sure to hit him instead. Kita quickly make another snowball as she called out. "Of course."

Kaname twirled on his foot, barely missing the snowball thrown at him. He stepped back a few paces, watching Kita's intense gaze and her quick preparation. He chuckled, brushing the snow from his hair. "It seems I'll have to take you more cautiously, Kita." He brought out his second snowball. "You've improved." He threw the snowball and leapt to the air.

Kita chuckled, "Thank you, my Lord." Kita replied as she quickly stepped away from his next snowball as she watched Kaname very so careful. She then chuckled. "So not going to use my own snowballs against me this time." Kita asked as she quickly took off from where she was standing.

Kaname turned in midair, spinning two snowballs at Kita in the air. He landed near a tree. "For the moment," he called out softly.

Kita chuckled as she ducked then jumped to her right just barely missing the second snowball. "I guess I should glad you only have two hands, my Lord." Kita watched as he landed next to a tree. She looked into his glowing red eyes from the distance with a smile. "Your eyes are are beautiful even from a distance." Kita told him as she released her second snowball. Quickly she swooped down making another and sending toward Kaname's left.

Kaname smiled quietly at the warning Kita gave herself, catching the snowball with a fluid switch of his right hand. Kaname bowed. "Thank you for the compliment, my lady. Your eyes suit you very well." He tossed her ball back at her and leapt in the air. He closed his eyes as the wind passed over him.

Kaname opened his eyes, catching her eyes before she swooped down. Kaname landed on a wide branch, scooping up snow from the tree. "You are very welcome." The wind picked up and the tree swayed. Nearly hidden in his cloak, Kaname waited, calm as his hair passed over his eyes, his body following the pine's movement.

Kita stopped within the tall trees staying close to them as her eyes looked above, "Taken to trees have you." Kita called out. She quickly moved to the next tree standing close to it her eyes still looking above her.

Kaname chuckled quietly, "Perhaps I have, Kita." His eyes picked up her movement below. He knelt on the branch. "And if I have, you'll have to come up to find me," he challenged lightly. "It's too dark to find me from the ground."
